Nearly 60 million Americans rely on private water wells which are unmonitored and unregulated. I designed VIZ as a concept packaging and digital product for home water testing. VIZ would guide the user through simplified tests, point out potential areas of concern, and direct the user towards resources for further testing. The biodegradable kit would include tests for pH, an indicator of water quality, and tests for common contaminants Nitrates/Nitrites, Chlorine, Manganese, Iron, Arsenic, and Bacteria.
